We made it possible for a German celebrity to compete in the German TV show "World Games” - on a slackline between two hot air balloons. Thanks to our sophisticated safety concept for installation & protection, Nilam was able to move safely up there even without any previous highlining experience.

Together with the German Embassy in New Delhi, One Inch Dreams organised a day-long event featuring Indian and German slackliners at the Red Fort in New Delhi on February 26th 2022. The unique collaborative performance is part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Indian government’s celebrations on the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. This open-to-all event at the Lahori Gate promotes Indo-German friendship and brings together many people to enjoy adventure-sports, arts and music.
After several months of preparation, Alex broke the blindfolded slackline record by walking a 1712m long highline over Cañón del Sumidero in Chiapas, Mexico. That’s nearly 500m more than the old record and more than double as long as the longest line Alex has walked with open eyes until then. More info here!
Our athlete Alex Schulz has just walked a slackline between the isle of Skye and the highest of the sea stacks “Macleods Maidens”. Climbing and rigging the highline on this stunning island was surely a very special experience, but still only half the adventure, as we spent the last three weeks on a sailboat to get here all the way up from south England riding through still waters as well as storms! At the very latest when the WHO declared a pandemic status on 11.03.2020, it was clear that COVID-19 could cause us difficulties. However, all our flights had already been firmly booked at that time. Without a chance for a refund we had to at least try to get into Vanuatu with the hope that we would make it back sometime, whenever that might be.

For Johannes music means everything. According to him, finding the perfect music score for a film is one of the most demanding and rewarding things at the same time, regarding the powerful effect a soundtrack may have on the pictures. Together with Justin la Vallee and the Budapest Art Orchestra he finally realized the score of the narrative “Building Bridges”.

Our team member Friedi Kühne just walked the worlds highest urban highline in Russia. While crossing the 214m long highline he was balancing 350 meters above Moscow.
Every new beginning starts with change. Currently there is a lot going on and much has been changing in the slackline world. Established Slackline companies are dying like flies, new records are broken almost every week, and of course we at One Inch Dreams have not been untouched by times of change either. You are wondering how the One Inch Dreamers continue?
August 17th and 18th the Federal Foreign Office of Germany in Berlin has open doors, an event the institution hosts annually. We are invited to perform a stunt between their very own buildings - a highline fixed at the flagpole of the German flag above the Foreign Minister Heiko Maas’ rooftop terrace. We will also screen our films “BuildingBridges” publicly for the first time – a special sneak preview for the attendants of the Open Day.
Do you want to know why we have been offline for such a long time? There are two answers to this question.
After months of preperation and countless problems we just managed to realize this symbolic project in Monument Valley, USA. It could only work out because so many individuals from US and Germany worked “Wunderbar together” towards a common goal - as the official claim of the “German Year in the USA” 2018/19 goes. We had to put our whole hearts in realizing the longest (217 m) and at the same time highest (247 m) urban highline. Getting a permit and rigging the line was almost as demanding as the walk itself, which tested Alex limits and for which he needed all his experiences.
The two tiny but highly efficient & strong pulley systems got an overhaul & are back in stock by today.

After countless days of planning we could finally realize a very special project on July 17th 2014:
A highline between two cable cars at Zugspitze 2800 m above sea level. Walking between swinging objects 150 m over the glacier was a unique experience for Alexander Schulz and Niklas Winter.
From now on we are selling ultra light and highly efficient slackline pulley systems and other hardware for the dedicated slackliner.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the mount Hochkönig the 2nd Raiffeisen Club Slackline Festival will happen from August 16th - 18th in the LIVINGROOM Hochkönig.
As the grand finale of the "night of the sport" in Ingolstadt on 3rd May Alex and Mirko gave a highline show. Get an impression of it by watching the pictures.
Alex was stuntman for the fake check of the Volvo ballerina stunt, in which Faith Dickey balanced over a rope rigged between 2 moving trucks. The goal was finding out if Volvos advertisement could be real.
The longest polyester slackline of the world. A Bavarian field full of sheep, good friends and beautiful weather were the ingredients for this undertaking.
Beginning of october 2012 we rigged a highline for the ski professional Felix Neureuther at the highest point of germany (summit of "Zugspitze").
This was also for us an unforgettable experience...
From september 7th to 9th 2012 we will organize the 1. Slackline Festival at mount Hochkönig during which Alex will try to break the Polyester highline world record!
On friday 13th we set up am illegal, 40 meters long midline at the monument "Friedensengel" in Munich. Surprisingly we were not caught by the police!

The 390 feet (119 meters) long highline was rigged in Consumnes River Gorge, California.
What happens when highliners have to much time?
The result: A new, creative, never been there before possibilty to fix a highline!
The plane took off on 14th November, 2011.
Alex, together with Lukas Irmler and Christian Krr, is going to rig highlines at many beautiful spots in the country of origin of slacklining, trying to break his current highline record of 115 meters.
We executed two new stunt service productions: a Slackline stunt show at the Landschaftspark Duisburg & a climbing challenge at the Excalibur Tower in Groningen, Netherlands. Influencers Joey’s Jungle and Julia Beautx competed against each other in the new contest format "Julia vs Joey".
